The Journal of Korean Neurological Association is the official Korean journal of the Korean Neurological Association. This journal is published in an open-access format, and the papers are selected through a fair peer-review process. The regular publication date is the 1st of February, May, August, and November, four times a year.

The objectives of this journal are as follows.

The Journal of Korean Neurological Association publishes papers providing creative and up-to-date medical information so that neurologist can utilize it for patient care, education, and research in clinical neurology. It provides special reports and articles in the form of learning materials necessary for re-education for specialists and education for residents. In the form of specialized papers and contributions, it can publish topics on policy or social issues that need to be publicized among the members of Korean Neurological Association. It also publishes large-scale research results in the field of clinical neurology to be shared by domestic neurologists and medical guidelines from domestic experts.

The main authors of the Journal of Korean Neurological Association are Korean researchers or researchers who are conducting research in Korea. In this journal, they share information on research and policy on neurology/neurological disorders in Korea. By doing so, the Journal of Korean Neurological Association can provide the specific research outcome regarding the common neurological disorders in Korea.
