Abstract
Arterial thoracic outlet syndrome occurs when the subclavian artery is compressed due to anatomical abnormalities of the thoracic outlet. This condition can promote the formation of aneurysms and thrombi within the vessel, which, although rare, can lead to retrograde thromboembolic stroke. Diagnosing and treating arterial thoracic outlet syndrome in young patients without risk factors who develop ischemic stroke can reduce recurrence. We present the case about thromboembolic stroke related arterial thoracic syndrome, which is the second domestic report.
