- Abstract
- "We experienced a rare clinical manifestation of a digoxin induced catatonic stupor without other features of digoxin
toxicity. This case suggests that the neurological manifestation of digoxin toxicity can occur without the usual side
effects. Also, a serum digoxin level should be checked in any elderly patient presenting with abnormal cerebral func-tions,
irrespective of whether or not the dose of digoxin has been changed.
