- Abstract
- Acute subdural hematoma of the posterior fossa (ASDH-PF) is a clinical rarity with a poor prognosis (mortality rate 74%). We report a case of ASDH-PF associated with anticoagulation. 76-year-old woman are transferred due to stuporous mentality. Neurologic examination showed bilateral incomplete sixth nerve palsy with nuchal rigidity. There are high signal intensities in T1 weighted MR images which encircled posterior fossa. We treated patient medical]y with hyperosmolar agent and cytoprotective agent successfully.
